Also you can find everything within walking distances from the villa such as grocery shops and great traditional taverns as the village of Sternes is only 300 meters away.
- Total quietness and full privacy as the villa is located in a fenced 2,000 sq. m hill. Also even the airport looks to be close on the map, we can guarantee that you will never hear any sound of planes from the villa area (planes are landing and taking off in a different direction, so they do not pass over or close to the villa).
- The hospitality of the owner, he will be on hand with helpful advice and information whenever it is needed. The owners have a wide knowledge of the island and will be only to willing to suggest places of interest and routes to get there.

The two-storey 290 sq. m villa with superb architectural design is tastefully decorated with minimum style and it can accommodate 10 people in beds and up to 11 people if it is necessary.

Indoor layout
Entering the villa on the ground floor there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with two seat sofas, a fireplace, a 46” satellite HDTV, DVD player, sound music system and an indoor dining area. An impressive panoramic floor-to-ceiling window from the living room area leads you to the outdoor terrace, garden and pool. Additionally a grass covered backyard garden with hammock is located behind the living room. Next to the open plan living-dining area there is a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances. Furthermore, a fully organised office room is also found on the same floor.

As you go through the hall way on the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, laundry room with washing machine and a tumble dryer and the main bathroom with bath and shower. The bedrooms are one main bedroom with a king size double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and other two with 2 single beds. The single beds can be converted to a double bed. All the bedrooms on the ground floor have sea view and direct access to the pool area.

A staircase leads you down to the lower floor where you can find an open plan area designed for children with a double bed and two single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, a playroom area and a secondary kitchen. The area also contains a 40” HDTV, Xbox with games, board games, a collection of Playmobil games and a treadmill for exercise.

Outdoor area
The landscaped outdoor area of the villa offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.

Marathi beach (3.2 km)

Marathi has two wonderful beaches, divided by the pier of the harbour and they are probably two of the best beaches in Akrotiri peninsula! Both are sandy and well organized with sun beds and umbrellas. The most important advantage with the beaches in Marathi is that you'll almost never see the sea with waves, even when it blows in western Crete. Also there you can find taverns and cafes by the sea. Marathi is ideal for families with children.

Seitan Limania beach (13.4 km)

There you will find a beach that differs from other beaches. Nature created three inlets between the steep cliffs of the peninsula. In one of them is located the well-hidden beach which is not organised. Be aware that in order to reach Seitan Limania beach, you have to park your car and then climb down a path, not that easy for children or elderly people.

Stavros beach (14.4 km)

In Stavros village you will find two beaches. The main beach where “Zorbas” was filmed, is located in the east side of the village, at the foot of the mountain and has marvellous white sand and shallow turquoise waters. The second beach of Stavros is located in the north side of the village and has sand and rocks in places and is less organised than the first, but cleaner.

Kalathas beach (11 km)

Kalathas beach is quite long and most of the time you will not feel crowded. However, if you're looking for a secluded spot, you'll probably find it in one of the sides of the beach. Be aware that Kalathas beach is being affected by the winds.

Agia Marina beach is well organized and easy to access, there you will also be able to find many shops, restaurants, nightclubs and amazing beach bars.

Falassarna beach (68.7 km)

"Ideal for sun lovers, a small part of it is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and 2-3 beach bars, while the rest remains unspoilt. This is the ideal place for an all day swim as the scenery is breathtaking and it is almost never packed with people. Be sure to visit Falassarna, though, when the winds blowing are not northern or north western because the place is being whipped when the weather is not the appropriate one.

Balos beach (69,4 km)

Balos is in reality a strange geophysical formation consisting of a lagoon like waterfront with pieces of sandy shore connecting it with the small mountain right in front of the beach. The beach has white sand with exotic turquoise and light green waters, making the scenery tropical. The area around Balos is a protected area and is highly recommended for children due to its shallow waters and, also for snorkeling. Furthermore if you wish you can take a cruise to Gramvousa island opposite Balos beach and visit Gramvousa fortress!

Elafonissi beach (91 km)

Elafonissi is one of the most well-known beaches not only in Crete but also entire Greece. A famous summer hotspot with a strange morphology and a stunning, beige dust like sand, Elafonissi is a place you just have to visit. The beach is fully organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, two beach bars, lifeguard, WC's and all touristic infrastructure for a fun day on the beach!

Samaria Gorge (59.5 km)

Samaria gorge is the longest one in Europe. It is an area of stunning natural beauty. Rare flora and fauna have survived in this area and are protected. The mountains that have formed it are wild, high and steep. The path starts from Xyloskalo (near Omalos) in the White Mountains at an altitude of 1230 meters and comes to an end at the village of Agia Roumeli at the Libyan sea. Walking through the gorge usually takes from 3 to 5 hours.

Imvros gorge (60.5 km)

Imbros Gorge is located in province Sfakia and is the third most visited gorge in Crete. The scenery is beautiful and the low difficulty make the descent of Imbros ideal for families with children. The length of the gorge is 11 km and the course lasts 2-3 hours.
